Hello!

I will be visiting London for the first time in September from the 3rd to the 7th. I'm an avid theater goer in NYC and want to hit a couple shows while I'm there in London.

I'm planning on seeing Les Miserables and was wondering if West End has anything similar to Broadway with rush tickets and rush lines? Or if there's any way to get cheap tickets?

All advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Most of the theatres have day seats (West End equivalent of rush tickets), but not Les Miz. The cheapest you can get is 12,90£ standing tickets, but as far as I know they sell them only when the performance is sold out (generally on Friday and Saturday nights)

It is older information on theatremonkey (because I haven't seen a change in quite a while) - but it says:  "No policy, too busy at the moment. Upper Circle J1 and 2 for £20 are decent, or A2 and 28 allow you to see almost two thirds of the show at £10. Read more.
A reader also noted that once all other seats are sold, she got £12.50 standing room at 3pm for a Saturday 7.30pm show, but advises turning up far earlier for that."
