Besides frozen, what's at the top?
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

I totally get that as he's merely writing the thing before he brings it back to them but...WHO CARES!!! ITS FINALLY HAPPENING AND THAT ALL I CARE ABOUT.
I know at SETC two representatives from Disney Licensing revealed they are working on a Hercules Jr and if that does well they may release a full-length version. That may be what he is referring to
Considering Menken was the one who blew the lid of Aladdin coming to broadway before Disney officially announced it, I wouldn't be suprised if Hercules is a lot farther a long then we think. On top of that, Hercules wouldn't open for at least another 2.5-3 years. It is likely a replacement for Aladdin, whose sales should decline once Frozen opens next year, like Aladdin did to Newsies, and Newsies did to Mary Poppins.
I love when BroadwayWorld takes threads and turns them into articles.

Not really, it's quoting the original article that the OP posted.
bdn-I hope not...as silly and mediocre as Aladdin is, I would actually kinda of hate to see it go. Besides, it's raking in dough so unless it drops significantly in the next few years, I doubt this will happen even with Frozen in the midst of this. And actually Mary Poppins closed to make way for Aladdin, Newsies didn't really have anything to do with it.
And I wouldn't surprised at all if indeed it were further along than we thought, Alan is always thinking about his next thing like any smart artist should, therefore I also wouldn't be surprised if something were announced at the Expo this week...CROSSING FINGERS
