Just wondered if anybody knows what the difference is between the 2 listings for the digital download of NEWSIES.  One is listed as "Newsies: The Broadway Musical (with Bonus Content)" and the other as "Newsies: The Broadway Musical (Theatrical Version).  The pricing is the same for both and the descriptions for each appear to be the same.  I'm confused ... are they the same or not?  I want to be sure I know what I am purchasing.  Any insight will be appreciated.

Sorry for bringing this up again but has anybody seen an explanation of the 2 different versions?  It comes out on Tuesday and I would really like to know before ordering one of them.  Perhaps I'll have to wait until after Tuesday and see if there are any posts from people that purchased a specific version.  Appreciate any input anyone may have.

My guess is that the (Bonus Content) version has interviews, rehearsal footage, and maybe the Kenny Ortega intro we saw at El Capitan. The other one is just the show. That one is an hour and fifteen minutes longer, too.

Thanks!!  they must have recently updated the running times because before they were both listed as "2 hrs" ... that extra "hour +" definitely goes a long way in making up my mind which one to order.  Odd that they are both the same price considering the runtime difference.

Ok, so I went ahead and purchased the digital download version that included the "Bonus Material" and I have a complaint!  Could they not have made the "Bonus Material" individual downloads rather than making it just one long download??  There is no easy way to access just the "Bonus Material" ... you have to hunt for it with your mouse ... or fast forward thru the entire feature until you get to the particular "Bonus" section you wanted to watch.  And, another problem I have with this whole "digital" release ... you can't really "download" it ... at least not the Amazon version ... you can only stream it.  Maybe I'd like to watch it at some point when I'm in a situation where I don't have internet access.  I really hope they come out with a dvd/blu ray release in the near future then a person wouldn't have these issues.  It's frustrating as all get out!!  I was just happy that they final announced they were making it available in some form that I was too impatient to sit back and wait for a physical release but that is really what I ultimately want and apparently so do the majority of the posters on the NEWSIES Facebook page.  Guess I played right into Disney's hands by going ahead and purchasing the "digital" version because they know very well that there will be plenty of us that will dip into our wallets once again and purchase a physical copy when they decide to make it available.

That's how Amazon Video works, Disney has nothing to do with any of that. You can download select titles that have been purchased from Amazon to view offline on some compatible devices.

But if you were looking for an MP4 that you can just have at any time and/or make copies of, well, that's just not how it works these days.

I bought it through iTunes specifically so I could download it.  However iTunes doesn't appear to have the special features.

It should, it's listed as "iTunes Extras" which are included with the HD purchase.
