Well, friends, the final show of the season (per TONY eligibility) opens tonight! Let's post the notices here and discuss accordingly. Sending all my best to the perps populating the Golden!
Seriously- this play and these performances deserve to be seen.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Usher at the theater said they're selling tickets through July 23

It was always scheduled to run to July 23.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Step 2: Don't market it at all before opening
Step 3: Fill the preview performances with people seeing the show for free
"“A Doll’s House, Part 2” shifts rapidly from laughter to fury to sorrow to somber acceptance. I can’t think of many performers capable of Metcalf’s fearless extremes. The agility of her acting, the way she can reverse course while making it seem like she’s simply following the logic of her character, is a marvel. Her performance in Hnath’s smart play is one of the headier pleasures of this Broadway season."
Happy to see the reviewa strong so far. And thank you to Jeffrey for giving us a rating. I know you've gotten flak and just want to say that I see you and I thank you.
Here's hoping for a rave from Brantley and a well-deserved Tony for Metcalfe.
