I was wondering if people here have rushed the show yet and what your experiences have been like? What time did you get there, how many people showed up, where were the seats?

I saw one report in the "... in previews" thread, but though it better to have a separate thread for rush reports.

Please share! :)

I don't know about the rush line, but it might be helpful to point out that there's also a digital lottery, on the show's website, for the same amount ($32)

Bumping this, anyone?

I'm only visiting so a lottery is too risky. I love The West Wing and need to see Allison. Play rushes are usually fine, but just wondering what times people are getting there and where the seats are located.

I rushed it early in previews, so I don't know if this is still accurate, but I was there by 9:30 on a two-show day and I was fifth in line. They also had two separate lines for the matinee and the evening performance. Good luck, and enjoy your visit! I liked the show a lot and I hope you get to see it.

I was at the BO yesterday (Wed) morning about 10 minutes before it opened to swap tickets for a missed performance. There were 3 people in line ahead of me. They all bought rush tickets (box seats). It seemed there were plenty and no rush to rush. The box office guy was very friendly.

And I loved the show.

I bought a rush seat at about noon yesterday, and it was also in the box. Great view and lovely leg room. There were tons of empty seats throughout the house, so doubt you'd have any sort of problem getting rush regardless of the time you show up.

Just to give a recent experience for anyone who might be interested --- I rushed last night (Friday 6/2). Got to the box office around 5:45pm and was able to get a seat in the last row of the center orchestra.

I did the lottery for the matinee today. It's a relatively small window 8-10 a.m. but I entered at 9:53 and was notified I won at 10:01. Got O-1 in the orch. 3 rows from the back, first seat in the orch left section, right off the middle aisle. Perfect seat, great show. Allison is wonderful. No surprise there.

I rushed yesterday (Saturday), won two tickets. They were next to last row of the orchestra. Near the middle of the left orchestra side. Small house, so great seats
