FYI...this isn't a show that ever seemed to garner a huge following here...lots saw it, but I'm not sure how much repeat visitors are here.
My second viewing of the show was a year ago almost to the date in March 2016 and they both happened to be on. It was Major's debut show and although I was initially upset about Iglehart being out, Major absolutely blew it out of the water. He was SO wonderful and later in the day when I found out it was his first show I was shocked and also honored to see it! He hit all of the main marks that Iglehart inventively created, but also made the part his own. Dela Cruz was also great- technically sound and gave a strong performance, but seemed a little nervous which lent to lacking star quality. I am sure he has grown so much since and is great. Would love to go back and check it out this year.
Any ideas who the new Aladdin will be now that Telly is leaving?

I googled Joshua Dela Cruz because I had never heard of him. He is the new Blue's Clues Guy! https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/blues-clues-sets-new-host-title-1142732
Shouldn't Telly's replacement be getting announced soon? I'd like to see this show again and I'm trying to decide if I should see it with Telly or wait to hear who is replacing him. I know tickets will be a bit cheaper after this week so I'd like to take advantage of the lower prices if I can.
-Jeff Bowen's worst onstage line flub.
Thanks for the feedback. I caught the tail end of Arielle's Instagram Live last Friday and someone asked her how long she'd be there and she made it sound like she had no plans to leave. I know actors lie about this type of thing too but I got the impression she is happy. Of course I have to wonder if producers may feel differently if her brother is available again. It may be easier to cast Jasmine than Aladdin.
I've seen Telly Leung in several shows and have noticed that his voice is getting thinner and reedier as he gets older. Also, in my opinion, he's not much of an actor so the performance suicidalmickeymouse saw doesn't surprise me.
Michael James Scott is a fantastic Genie too.
It's been announced on the show's social media that Ainsley's last day is tomorrow. Kind of odd that the show hasn't announced his replacement yet?

i caught Major in Salt Lake City He was great It was certainly a treat since I just saw him on Broadway in January
DTP actually announced earlier this week that Ainsley Melham’s replacement, starting July 16, will be current Aladdin understudy Jacob Dickey.
