A BRONX TALE Cast Recording?

Any word on this? I assume we'll be getting one considering it's an Alan Menken score, plus the fact that Tommy Mottola is lead-producing.

Can you just tell us what she said re: a cast recording so we don't have to sit through 20 some odd minutes?

Regardless, the show is a hit and I'd bet large sums of money that it will get a CR.

The cast recording is schedule to go into the studio next week. I believe the 9th and 10th.

What is the general consensus of this show's score? I know it's Alan Menken, but I'm surprised that a "breakout" track hasn't really emerged yet.

It's a fun score with some great songs. Nothing out of this world, but I really enjoy it.

It was recorded January 9th by Decca.

 

Release late winter/early Spring.
