Oh, no!! She is my favorite of all the female classic Hollywood musical stars. She's adorable and such huge talent ...and such quick wit. This is such sad news. Hang tough, Ms. Reynolds.
Fisher mentioned earlier this year that her mom had suffered two strokes. Hopefully Ms. Reynolds will pull through this one too.
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I hope Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher are both honored with a joint dimming of Broadway theatre lights. It would be a lovely honor for two fantastic artists.

I feel so very, very badly for Billie Lourd. To lose your mother and grandmother within a day, and at Christmastime to boot. Just truly horrible and heartbreaking. Thoughts, prayers, and sympathies.
Rest in peace dear Debbie Reynolds. I truly admired your effervescent personality, your beauty and your talent. Through your many films and performances you never failed to put a smile on my face and make my world a little more brighter. You shined for us here on earth - - - now go up there along with your beloved Carrie so you both can continue shining for us like the stars you are.
She was always one step ahead of her time. She was beautiful and funny and poised with a voice of velvet at every stage in her career. It's heartbreaking that her final moments were spent mourning the death of her daughter.
"I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie." Todd Fisher tells us Debbie cracked early Wednesday morning from grief. She was at Todd's home during the morning hours, talking about Carrie's funeral, when she made the comment. Fifteen minutes later she had the stroke."
It's very sad. Debbie Reynolds was one of the best. A great Hollywood preservationist, too. I'm so sad her last days on earth must have been so heartbreaking.
