Bumping this thread...

Considering trying to rush this show tomorrow, wondering if anyone who has done it yet could share some details-Number of seats, when the line started.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what it's like these days, but when I rushed during the final week of previews, I got there a little before 9:30 and was fifth in line. By the time the box office opened, I think there were about 12 people in line.

Hi guys, has anyone rushed since New Years that might give some insight on what time people are showing up? Was thinking of going tomorrow (Sat.) morning. I stopped by Thursday morning around 10:15 and the box office was still working to finish their line from opening with about 6 people still in it. Just wasn't sure if they all showed up at 10 or when. Thanks.

Did it a week ago Saturday (2/11). Got there about 9:40, was probably about 20th or so in line and got orchestra left, last seat in the row for the matinee. Nice seat and a very good show. Better than what I was expecting given my apprehension whether this could live up to how good Chazz's 1 man show was..

Has anyone rushed lately? About what time have people been lining up?

" I rushed this last Saturday (4.15) at got there at 7:30am and was third in line. By the time the box office opened there were maybe 15 people in line. I kinda just guessed on this one since there were no recent posts. Hope this helps!

Rushed Thursday, 5/11. Arrived at 9:20 and was 2nd in line. Received mezzanine row B seats way off to house right. The view was rather obstructed, but not too much that I regretted the deal of the rush tickets.

They didn't perform on the Tony's. That cannoli joke (not the Usual Suspects musical part) was one of my favorites of the night but I don't think it would raise awareness of the show. Should 9:00 am still be a safe time to show up for rush this week?

I got rush tickets two weeks ago 3 hours before the show started.

It's been a safe time throughout the run. I can't imagine anything about the Tonys changes that.

I rushed at the end of May around 12pm on a Saturday. There was no line and I got 2 obstructed view extreme side orchestra seats, maybe 5th row. Overall view wasn't bad at all, especially for the price.

Thanks, guys. Just an update for another else who's interested. I was there a little after 9 today. Other people showed up before the box office opened but I don't think there were more than 10 of us. Of course it is a weekday, but still. We got similar partial view orchestra seats on the side. I don't know if it would have been any better going as a single but I'm sure the view will be fine.

If anyone happens to want any updates/info, I rushed this show about two or so weeks ago on a Saturday evening.  I had other plans with friends that evening, but they were cancelled at maybe 7:35 PM, but I decided to try my luck and run to see if they had any last-minute rush tickets available for the 8:00 show.  I was by myself, and to my surprise, they had a front-row center orchestra seat for me!  I thought the show was fantastic, and the seat location made it that much better.

Bump - anyone how info on how the rush has been later in the summer? Especially Tuesdays or Wednesdays for the matinee? Would appreciate info on what time you had to get there and what seats you got. Thanks!

I believe the show has remained an easy rush.  From what I understand, especially when it gets a few hours away from curtain, they start selling tickets to rush that haven't been sold by the regular box office yet.

To answer your specific question about the weekdays, I rushed this show (for a second time) on a Wednesday matinee about three weeks ago, I believe.  we arrived at the box office maybe at around 10:00, and we got five tickets.  Four were together in pairs on the extreme sides of the orchestra section, and the last ticket was in the front row, center orchestra.  I had sat in the front row before and loved it, but I wanted to give that seat to my friend, so I sat on the extreme left of the orchestra, in the fourth row.  Both views were fine, in my opinion!

Hope you enjoy the show!

Bumping this thread. Has anybody rushed recently for a Sat/Sun matinee? What time did the first person get there? Where were your seats?
