I'm excited to see Aubergine at Playwrights Horizons, which is currently running there. I've heard some great things about it.
Here are some of the off-Broadway shows I'm most looking forward to this fall:
DEAD POETS SOCIETY at CSC
ALL THE WAYS TO SAY I LOVE YOU at MCC
THE HARVEST at LCT3
SWEET CHARITY with The New Group
SWEAT at The Public
THE DEATH OF THE LAST BLACK MAN IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD at the Signature
I would suggest seeing SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS if you can. It's running now through 9/25.
In addition to what's already been suggested:
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (Roundabout)
A LIFE (Playwrights)
PLENTY (Public)
VIETGONE (MTC)
$20 tickets to a ton of off-Broadway productions are available starting Sept. 5 through the 20at20 program from the Off Broadway Alliance.

Has anyone heard much about The Harvest yet? I have an opening for a Sunday night show in late October and was thinking about getting tickets for this!
It doesn't start until November so that may not fit your plans, but I'm really looking forward to Ride The Cyclone at the MCC Theater. Tickets went on sale a couple days ago.
I really like what Mint Theater does as well. I have not seen their current show, A Day By The Sea.

I'll have to look into the ones you mentioned and see if any are playing in Oct. I'm really only looking for a Sunday night show as my other time slots are already filled. Thanks for for information!
The Harvest and Verso have Sunday night shows in October. I don't know anything about the shows though, lol.
To piggy-back on this thread rather than making a new one - does anyone know of any off-broadway shows playing in late Oct that have/will have unusual times, such as 11am or 5pm performances? I have gotten good suggestions in the past on this board for shows to add to squeeze in an extra performance slot, and just wondering if anyone knows of any for this fall?
Thanks in advance!
