Dreamgirls Broadway Revival Dream Casting

Sorry if this is already a thread, but I just saw production of Dreamgirls tonight, and now I'm wondering, who could play who in the Dreamgirls Broadway revival? (If it was to ever happen)

I've said before that for the ladies I would love: Amber Riley as Effie and Patina Miller as Deena. For Lorrell I did have my heart on Nikki M. James but after seeing her this season, Adrienne Warren would be fantastic.

Outside of this, I don't want to dreamcast a completely unannounced production.

Actually, Adrienne Warren played Lorrell on that Dreamgirls tour with Syesha Mercado a few years back! I vaguely remember the tour but I remember her "Ain't No Party" was fantastic!

If there is a revival, I don't care who is in it. What I most would like to see most is Michael Bennetts brilliant and innovative staging fully recreated. It has been done again, but always in a reduced form.The cinematic vision he brought to this show has not been surpassed. The recent tour in comparison was laughably bad.

The staging and choreography of that last tour looked very amateur.  In terms of the set I liked some of what Robin Wagner did with the video panels.  Would prefer to see his original set recreated with those light towers gracefully dancing around the stage.  (And what is most interesting about those original towers is that they were not automated by computers which is a common misconception.  They were driven by electric winches completely controlled by stagehands.  I remember reading that Bennett said that the show would suffer a little bit whenever a stagehand was out on vacation because everything had to be so precise.)

If they do revive this show anytime soon I truly hope + pray it is NOT the production that is now playing across the pond. The costumes are hideous. 

I want the original staging and costumes, I want "Listen" relegated back to the 2006 feature film as the original stage show does NOT need or require it and for God's sake please, oh, please re-instate that fabulous Act II opener with The Dreams in Las Vegas.

Danielle was great in TCP, but Effie seems like a stretch vocally imo. I REALLY want to see Amber in this as Effie. And I'd love to hear Amber Iman sing Ain't No Party and Lorrell Loves Jimmy.
