A friend did rush for ''Shuffle Along.'' He says the seats appeared to be on the far sides of the orchestra. He says it's better to sit further back. If you're too close, you'll miss the dancers' feet.
They sell boxes first then front side orchestra then further back side orchestra I think. I was front row side orchestra. They stage is quite high so you miss a lot happening in the back, and it's sad not seeing the dancers' feet. On the good side Audra was basically tapping in my lap.
I rushed this morning and got Left Box seats 3 and 4. I'll let you know how the view was after the show tonight. Warning: it's a pretty popular rush. I got there a little after 8 and was 12th in line, which is busier than a lot of the shows I've seen lately. By the time the box office opened, there were at least 25 people in line.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
