Waitress Rush Tickets

Rushed Sunday 1/27. Two show day.  Got there at 9am and was thirteen in line. We had Left Orchestra, row E, seats 19 and 21 for the matinee.  Wonderful performances by Sara Bareilles and Gavin Creel.  Try to catch them before they leave.  Ask for house right seats if you can.

I rushed on the 22nd, got there at 6:20 and was the first in line. Second got there at 6:45, third at 7:10, 4th and 5th at around 7:45, and between 7:45 and 8:00, three more people came. Then no one else (that I noticed) until after 8:30–8:40ish, when people started trickling in non-stop. I'd guess it took so long for people to show up since the temperature was below freezing the day I rushed.

A little late to give advice on Sara/Gavin, I know =/ Maybe this'll be applicable if Sara or some other popular actor/actress returns/comes to the diner, lol. I ended up sitting in left orchestra, row C, in the aisle.

Hi, I’ll be in NYC in late March and was wondering when I’d have to line up for rush tickets on a Sunday (for the evening show). Given Sara isn’t starring anymore will I still need to get there quite early?

any updates on rush tickets? I wanna try on a monday at the end of the month, i'm guessing more people will be there at the start of shoshana's run tho...

I got there at 11 this past Sunday and there was a group of 5 people ahead of me. A few more showed up at 11:30 and there were probably 12 people in total for a 2 show day. 

 

I know 2 people in front of me got H 2,4,6 while I was in H 8 which are full view seats. No clue what the others got.

I got to the Box Office at exactly 10am on Tuesday and was able to get two rush tickets.

Went today (Sunday) at 10:40am (box office opened 12pm). I was 15th in line and at least another 17 were behind me by 12. I’m fairly sure everyone got tickets for the 2 shows.

I got there at 8am on Monday and was fifth in line. Looked to be about 40 people in line behind me by 10. I’m not sure how much that had to do with it being his first show, however.

Rush this morning, 4/13. Got there about 7:30 and was 8th in line. By 10 there was at least 30 more people behind me. Side Note:my ticket was only $40, in January it was $48, that was a nice little surprise.

I waked by around 8am this morning and it looked like there were a good 10-12 people in line, you would have been one of them :) Where are the seats located?

I also rushed today (4/13). I got there at around 8:15, and I’d say there were about 20 people in front of me. By the time I got the the front, they still had tickets for both shows. I got orch left, row P for the evening show.

Does anyone know if Shoshana has any planned away dates? I'm praying she's in for all 8 shows this week and I've been watching her insta stories and it seems like she is...but I'd be devastated if I went and found out she wasn't there

I do imagine she’ll be out for a couple days the week of the 23rd as she’s doing a concert in her hometown.

I rushed on Monday and got there at 7am, and was the 3rd person in line.  By the time the box office opened at 10am, there was quite a long line.  Not sure if everyone got a ticket.  I was in the 2nd row, all the way over.

Were you in the aisle? Just wondering if the rush seats have changed since Shoshana and Jeremy have joined the show.
