King Charles III - Rush

Has anyone tried rush tickets for KING CHARLES III? How soon do you have to get there? Are the seats any good? Inquiring minds would like to know... Thanks... :)

I rushed it relatively early in previews, so it may be different now, but for what it's worth:

I believe I got there around 9am, maybe a little later, but definitely before 9:30. I think I was about 3rd in line. Seats were far house left in the 2nd row. A rather large candlestick blocked some of the rear of the stage, but for the most part I could see everything.

I bought a rush ticket for the Friday evening performance at 6:45pm. No issue at all.

I rushed it this past Sunday. There were around 10 people in line total when the box office opened at noon. For whatever reason, next to no-one is rushing this show, but that can't last forever. It's easily in contention for a Best New Play nomination, and there should be several nominations for the cast as well. My advice would be that as long as you go soon (this week or next), you can get away with getting there <30 minutes before box office opening and still get a great seat. I can't predict how fast word-of-mouth will spread on this gem, so getting there soon is key.

I was first in line, and my seat was orchestra B9, which is second row, far left. It's supposedly "partial view", but I missed absolutely nothing except some final bit of imagery in the very last moments. I can't say more than that without spoiling things. The majority of the action, as others have said in other threads, is on a raised platform in the center of the stage. Any seat is a good seat for this one.

My friend rushed this for us this morning. I can't tell you exactly when she got there or how many people where there... but we A8 and A6, front row, far right. I didn't feel like the view was limited, except that you have an extreme side view and see the backs of people quite a few times, esp when 2 people are in conversation. But I much prefer this to rear Mezz or something. Definitely a great seat for that price!

(I actually had a quite similar seat for Heidi Chronicles at the same theater, also rush, so I wonder if the Music Boc is always holding these extreme side tickets for rush?

I went the Saturday before Christmas around 5pm and got a rush ticket, row D all the way to the side but the view was perfectly fine.

I got in line at 9 AM last Thursday (12/24) and I was third in line. I don't think anyone else lined up until 9:45-ish, and I think everyone in line got their tickets.

Yeah. I went at 5pm for an 8pm Saturday show and got a ticket.

I rushed last Saturday (not the blizzard Saturday).

I got there about 10:30, and I ended up in the front row of the mezz on the side. The seats weren't bad at all.

I've rushed it twice.  Both times 90 minutes before curtain.  The first time was in November.  Got partial view row E side orchestra.  Second time was Jan 2nd, matinee.  Got front mezz row B, seats 26-28.  There was no one in the row so we moved over to 2-4.  Best seats ever.

I rushed a few days ago, I think on the 21st. Got there at about 11:30am, got seats A21/23 in the front mezz. Not bad at all. Great seats, only missing about 5% of stage right, but with the staging of the show, almost everything takes place relatively downstage or midstage center so I think we missed one small event on the side but that was it. Totally worth it, great seats, and fantastic show.
