Yes! I was hoping Darren Criss got a nomination for that song! I love it!
So glad Krakowski and Burgess got nods.
Alan Cumming is also nominated, for The Good Wife.
But it's unbelievable that RuPaul's Drag Race continues to be snubbed.
"So glad Krakowski and Burgess got nods."
Me too. Those two killed absolutely every scene they were in. Maybe it'll finally be Krawkoski's chance to win after shockingly not winning for some of her best work in 30 Rock

RuPaul's Drag Race actually received it's first Emmy nomination this year ... in the Outstanding Makeup for a Multi-Camera Series or Special (Non-Prosthetic) category but at least it's something!

IMO that's really all that show deserves to be nominated for.

Last season (6) was one of the best seasons of reality television I've ever seen, and I'm a reality TV addict. It's also a shame that Ru isn't nominated for Best Reality TV Host. Anthony Bourdain? Really?
Ru definitely deserves to at least be nominated, no question.
I'm disappointed in the lack of love, yet again, for "Penny Dreadful". At least they got a few nods this year, but no costumes?! I assume that these noms are for last year, but wish they'd get it together with nominating some of the great performances. Here's hoping LuPone gets some love next year.

I double checked and the nom's for Penny Dreadful were for last season. Still, Eva Green?

If anyone does have a link to this production can you please PM me? I would love to watch it as I was away when it aired!
Shall we take the non-nod to Jim Parsons as a good sign, i.e., that he will become more available for theatre, and in work more commensurate with his estimable talent than the TV-quality thing he is doing this summer?
Just because the show and him got snubbed, doesn't mean that it's ending... It's literally one of the most successful shows on television. He's already won that award like four times, and I don't think this shows momentum is slowing down at all.
I was happy for the American Crime nominations. I always felt like I was in the minority when it came to people having good things to say about the program.

If anybody also has a link for the concert, I would love to see it
The concert isn't available on PBS' website, unfortunately.
STILL NO LOVE for Alan Menken... it's like the TV gods don't want him to EGOT:

It's really interesting that the WINNER of Best Actor in a Comedy last year didn't even get a nom. HogansHero, you make a great point- all I want is for Parsons to play Pseudolus on Broadway. I've had my Forum dream cast planned for years. Lol.
Sarah Paulson deserves to finally win for American Horror Story this year. She essentially played two roles at once, for crying out loud.
I'll be rooting for Christine Baranski. I met her at an event this year and mentioned her character on Big Bang (AND getting to do Follies in England!) and how well she does it. She said that the character is a terrible person. Lol.
Good for Emma Thompson, as well.

Maybe so, but apparently not in the categories it was nominated for.
I don't know if Peter Pan was as horrid as most people think- I believe it was hurt by the fact that the original and ALSO TELEVISED production is so well-know. The newer one was inevitably going to be compared, and unless it was beyond spectacular, would have not measured up anyway.
Plus, they needed a bigger name in the title role. I was rooting for P!nk or even Lady Gaga.
Never have understood why there isn't more love for The Newsroom and no love at all for the wonderful Treme.
