For me, October 13, 2003. I feared it was something puerile about "Wicked," in very early previews at the time, and my fears were just confirmed. I suggested that it needed an overture. Yeah. In my defense, several people agreed. That was the "Is the future of Broadway 'Caroline or Change' or 'Wicked'?" era at BWW. I don't believe anyone got a PhD free associating from that provocative thesis, but I could be wrong. Not for the first time. Twelve years later, I'm gonna go compensate by trying to say something semi-thoughtful about John Clancy's orchestrations for "Fun Home."

My first post was one applauding henrikegerman for his cogent analysis of the book of COMPANY and the way it was staged in the Philharmonic concert. I suggested we needed a "thank you" or "bravo" button here. We still don't have one, but I'm still applauding henrik's posts.
