I am listening to Matilda and it got me thinking. What performances have been recorded more than once on different cast recordings? Elena Roger in Evita immediately comes to mind.
Patti LuPone also recorded Mrs. Lovett twice once for the concert CDs and another for the revival. It's fun to compare and contrast how two different directors got two completely different performances from her.

"Les Miz has a few: Judy Kuhn on the OBC and 10th anniversary Colm Wilkinson on the OLC, OBC and 10th anniversary Michael Ball on the OLC and 10th anniversary Philip Quast on the CSR and 10th anniversary Kaho Shimada on one of the original Japanese recordings (Japanese) and the CSR (English)"
Michael Ball is also on the CSR and Philip Quast is on the Manchester highlights recording as well.
Linda Eder was on the first few Jekyll & Hyde cast recordings as Lucy: 1990 concept album, 1994 concept album, and the OBCR. (Also as Lisa Carew on the 1990 recording.)
EDIT: Apparently she also did the 1987 demo recording. The more you know!
