Hamilton Ticket Sold!#1
Posted: 4/22/15 at 1:23pm

My nephew is now going to a Kai Green meet and greet (his idol) leaving me with one extra ticket for this Sunday's matinee. Row N

Asking face value of $120.00.

I would meet the buyer in front of the Public a half hour before curtain.

So mad I'm not in NYC or I would jump on this offer!

You should have sold it on Stubhub. The tickets there are going for $500 to $1,000. You would have made yourself a nice profit

But kudos to you for not doing so boylikethat! Way to make another theatre-lover's day by selling it on here for face value.

congrats for selling at face value to another theatre lover

Ive paid scalpers when ive had to and was glad to get access to great seats

I could never scalp others because its a "business" that adds no true value and does not reward the artists you are going to see

I don't look at it as anything other then business. Supply and Demand. If I had an extra ticket I would have no problem selling it on Stubhub. The theater and artist are getting the original money and I get a profit and someone gets to see something that they could not get tickets for. Its that easy. I just don't get why anyone would pay $1,000 for a ticket when it is moving to Broadway and you could get a premium ticket there for $277
