Since you ask, what I'd really like to see is a brand new show. Great NEW music, a fun book, and some super singing and dancing.

I'm getting so tired of recycled -- I mean revivals.

City of Angels - it's a great show and deserves a revival

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

CITY OF ANGELS- A very well made musical that deserves to have a great cast and needs to come back to Broadway.

ALLEGRO- This Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is really underrated and it deserves to be revived.

The Visit. Chita has put so much into this show, and I'd love to see her have the chance to share that with Broadway audiences.

I'd love to see someone write a brand-new show for the special talents of Laura Benanti.

I wish Rebecca didn't have such huge issues coming to Broadway. :/

I'd like to see Elisabeth take a chance here, though.

The Wiz--its the first show I fell in love with and would kill for a revival.

I second the vote for The Wiz. It's too bad the production 5 or so years back at La Jolla Playhouse didn't make it to Broadway. Thought that was amazing.

LONDON ROAD and LONDON ROAD and LONDON ROAD. (Not a revival, of course, but the thread headline doesn't specify revivals.)

Revivals are good. They let a new audience see a classic. But you're right, we need new shows.

How about "Harmony"?

I missed Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, but I love the score. I don't know if it would really work in a traditional Broadway house, but I would love for it to transfer so that I could see it live.

LONDON ROAD is a gamble. It's a beautiful, amazing, innovative musical with an incredible score... but it'll be one of those tough sells. I saw the Canadian premiere a few times and it blew me away even more each time, but I feel like it's going to alienate a lot of people. It's for serious theatre-goers only.
