Posted: 7/24/14 at 3:01pmDid anyone happen to be at the reading last year? I've heard a couple songs and they sound pretty good. Does anyone have any info on this show? It's funny how all of these 80's and 90's movies are getting made into musicals.

Posted: 7/25/14 at 12:54pmHonestly out of this and Heathers, Heathers is far far better. I think one song in Jawbreaker was fun (the ice lolly song) but the rest of the score was bad. I think Heathers getting to NY first and enjoying pretty decent reviews and a 6 month run kinda put the final nail in the coffin on this.

Posted: 7/25/14 at 12:58pmJAWBREAKER was an absolutely awful film. Why anyone would ever have tried to turn it into something else is beyond me. The score is awful and they just managed to make what was bad even worse.

Posted: 7/25/14 at 2:14pmI dont think the film was terrible, it was very average and clearly a Heathers wannabe. I agree that unless the score is reworked from i heard it has nothing in it of any interest

Posted: 7/25/14 at 3:01pmTo be fair it's been years since I watched it so your probably right, I just remember thinking 'meh'. As a musical though because it's not a classic I was hoping they could improve it, turn it to something fun and satirical, it don't look like they did.

Posted: 7/25/14 at 3:24pmYeah, I really didn't care for the film of Jawbreaker and didn't think Drop Dead Gorgeous was much better. I assume the Easy A musical will be in the works soon.
