there's actually about 6-7 shows that typically play Mondays.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Not that a seasoned pro would be interested, but I know Wicked has a Monday performance coming up on July 7th. I believe it has a couple Monday night performances after that.
Thanks for that link. Now I'm curious whether I should see The Drowsy Chaperone, The Color Purple, or Frost/Nixon next Monday.... decisions, decisions.
Ok.. So I am trying to decide if I should see Here Lies Love or go to Sleep No More again. Those are the only two I see as options for a Monday night. Really don't know anything about Here Lies Love. But after it was mentioned here I looked it up and it looks like it might be fun. Is it ever on tkts ? I have seen Sleep No More a few times before and I had made the decision that enough is enough. But being that it is my only other Monday night option I am now thinking about it. BTW; with the exception of SLM I am not really one of those people that makes a habit of seeing things more than once.... But Norm Lewis is now in Phantom... but I hate Phantom.... But Norm Lewis is hot. Oh decisions, decisons.
It's not a huge space for Here Lies Love, and when I went a month or so ago, many shows were selling out. So, I can't say for sure, but I don't think it shows up on TKTS. Do things at the Public ever end up there?
When I went, I ended up like five feet away from David Byrne who was dancing along with the audience, which seems to be a pretty regular occurrence.
You can always go to Holler If Ya Hear Me. No one wants to see that more than once.
