Can anyone tell me how the view from seats on side orchestra afew seats in from the aisle? Would appreciate knowing before I purchase Is row A5 too close? C or D 9?
Thank you Sutton, but I am curious about the view being a side orchestra 3 seats in from the aisle for A5. Last time I was at this theatre I saw Twelfth Night and sat on the stage....Thinking about splurging for center orchestra seats or on the aisle side orchestra?
As Sutton said: this seat is FINE. A few seats from the aisle is FINE.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I've been in seats around there, and they're great. You can't really see the drummer (I think A5 is marked partial view), but being that close compensates. And it's not like those seats are cheap, either (I splurged on one and got another in the lotto), so it certainly wouldn't be worth it to me personally to pay for premium seats just to be a few feet over.
Has anyone seen the show on a Sunday night? That's hwen I'm looking to go. Also, I'm not sure if this has been touched on before, but is the stage high for this one? Would AA lead to craning necks?
I snagged Row F center for full price for tonight at 10 pm!
The kind of fun I had at Don Hills for $5 a head in 1994 with Mistress Formika showing John Cameron Mitchell how it's done I have to shell out $150 to see in a theater now.
I was in center mezz G (second-to-last row) on Sunday evening and it was a great view. I got to see details I missed/had to crouch down to see from standing room, and the rake is great so you can see everything really well. The only exception is when NPH goes into the audience, but that's like 1 minute of the entire show, so it's not the end of the world. I was quite happy with the seat.
Caught the 7PM show on 5/25. HOOOOOOOLY... I felt every emotion under the sun. Absolutely, positively mind-blowingly brilliant! Row AA-105. An incomparable experience, and ever grateful to have had the honor.
Hi everyone, I'm trying my darndest to get into the city to see Hedwig next month, and was hoping for some advice on making a seating decision before I part with my hard-earned $$. The (few) seating choices on the day I can go are either (1) extreme left or right orchestra (Rows F,G, or H) that are labeled "Partial View," or (2) left or right mezz (Row E) toward the wall on both sides. I'd lean toward the orchestra seats to get a fuller experience if the partial view isn't the entire show, but was hoping for some advice from those who've seen the show about extreme side orchestra vs. mezzanine. Thanks so much!
Partial view for Hedwig usually means you don't see a band member or so. Hedwig is front and center for almost all of it. I would stick to the odd-numbered side of partial view, as that should get you a good view of the stage door toward the back of the stage that she opens.
