Running Up that Hill and an encore of Hounds of Love would be a great show to me.

Apparently she sang both of those songs in the first part of the set, Namo. Setlist posted on pg 1 of this thread.

Jay - I'm super jealous. I expect a bump of this thread with a full report.

Just want to say apologies to anyone if they think I should not have posted the Set List - I was thinking, as it's a concert it would be ok but I hope I haven't ruined anyone's enjoyment by knowing the Set List in advance.

SPOILER BELOW!!!!!

From what I have read, at the dress rehearsal, Kate sang Wuthering Heights as part of her encore but as the first night over ran she had to leave it out.

Re: the setlist - as jealous as I am of Jay and everyone else who gets to attend, my jealousy is somewhat lessened when I see that Kate spends a good deal of the evening performing half of Ariel, an album that is not close to my heart.

(But, I'm still really jealous!)

I saw the show on Wednesday and was lucky enough to get tickets for September 12th too. She is my absolute favourite artist, and it was just perfect.

A stunning balance of theatrical spectacle, all moments which capture the heart of her fantastic music, and an opportunity for Kate to just return as Kate Bush, armed with beautiful and extraordinary music. Her voice is unbelievable. Truly magnificent; Top of the City and King of the Mountain were times when she truly showed off her massive vocal capacity and strength, and she just appeared to be enjoying herself so so much.

I know many of us thought this to be a once in a lifetime thing, but she has set up what appears to be a production company, as the whole thing has been presented by the KT Collective I believe, obviously taking the KT from her origins with the KT Bush Band, and she was absolutely loving every second of it. So I don't think we should rule out the possibility of another show in the future. I hope not anyway.

It was so beautiful to see so many people touched and overwhelmed by her music and her performance. Her finale of Cloudbusting absolutely destroyed me, as it has been my favourite song for a very long time now. So many adoring fans were at breaking point because they just couldn't quite believe Kate Bush was performing in front of them before their very eyes, I still can't quite fathom it myself. Truly wonderful evening, and I hope (I'm sure) it will be filmed.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the set list slightly varies. Not The Ninth Wave or A Sky of Honey, but perhaps the encores and opening section of the show. It's early days of the performances yet, and it wouldn't shock me if she wanted to change it up a little.

I hope it will be filmed too. Although, since she requested no cameras/phones, and her "connecting with the audience", wouldn't it seem incongruous to have a professional film crew getting in the way? Maybe it will be done without an audience, away from the official shows. I hope there's at least something.

I too hope there'll be more shows in the future - I try not to believe the myths that surround her. Before Aeriel, people thought she'd never release another record - then in 2011, she released two in one year. She's been saying for years that she would like to return to the stage in some capacity, "maybe not a tour, but something"...so we shouldn't really have been so surprised. We have her son Bertie to thank for finally forcing her hand - hopefully he will keep that up.

The anticipation is killing me.

P.S. What is the Apollo itself like? I have a seemingly bad seat at the back of the stalls.

I'm in the circle for both times. It's a bit of a barn, like really huge. A bizarre combination of a concert stadium and Art Deco theatre, but still intimate enough. I imagine you will still see, however I haven't seen how far back the back of the stalls is nor will I. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I imagism the overhang isn't great though. Check out theatremonkey.co.uk for view detail; excellent for London theatre view guidelines and The Apollo Hammersmith is included on there - colour coded and everything!

When are you going Jay? It doesn't matter where you sit: the spectacle is phenomenal. And of course she will blow you away regardless.

I do hope there is a film, at least a live album, which I think is very likely. Either way, future shows, film, live album or nothing, she is back in business, big time!

Thanks for that website link. Yeah, so my seat sucks. Back of the stalls, to the side. Still, I can't complain.

I will be there late September, which can't come soon enough!

Bumping this; according to reports several patrons have been emailed and informed that their seats have changed, to make room for a film crew.

Rub it in, Jay, rub it in!

I don't think the DVD's getting a release until after the new year. Seems like a lost opportunity for Christmas sales, but I'm sure they want to take their time on it.
