NJ_BroadwayGirl, I actually went to the show on Thursday night, so I appreciate hearing about what happened at the stage door that night since I couldn't stick around. With her feeling under the weather, I wonder if Idina is going to do the stage door again at all before the show closes.

"What was the name of that cheese that I like?" "you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start" "well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"

FYI, seems Menzel signed tonight. People posting photos to Twitter and all that. She must be feeling better and the weather isn't horrible.

Ugh bummer that she signed two days after I was there. There has basically been a 10% chance of getting her the past couple months. The crowds are so insane (and I was surrounded by autograph sellers too on Thursday) - I would actually never come out if I were her so I'm not really disappointed when she hasn't. I'm almost more disappointed when I hear that she did.

That's understandable. It's a crapshoot. I think the autograph resellers really harm the experience for other people, too, and I don't know if Menzel has been more strict about signing their stuff (certainly at the beginning it seemed she was signing piles of Frozen crap shoved into her face, so maybe she just didn't know better).

The first time I saw the show my sister and I both got windowcards and got a few signatures so I've been trying to get both of them signed each other time I've gone. Regarding autograph sellers - I was concerned if I ever had the chance to see Idina that she wouldn't sign multiple items but everyone else was cool with it.

I'll be at the last show on 3/22 but I'm not insane, so I'm cutting my losses on this windowcard and happy that I got many others to sign (LaChanze, Snyder, Rapp, Colella and more).

I'm going to take a shot on Thursday or Friday for her.

I would like to report from the stage door that Idina did not come out last night. The rest of the cast came out and signed for everyone that they could. After about an hour and a half of waiting, they finally told us Idina wasn't signing, and as she left the theater, she didn't even acknowledge the stage door crowd. It was one of the more disappointing experiences I've had on Broadway. She's on until Sunday, but I'm not going back. Good luck to those of you who want to try.

Wanted to report back from the Stage Door for Wednedsay March 18. I arrived around 9:25, there was already a small crowd. They set up the barricades in front of a black town car which I knew was a good sign. One of the girls next to me asked the cop who was on the scene if Idina was coming out, and he said yes. Once the show let out he said she would be coming out but not for a while, most likely around 11pm. We waited and a large amount of the cast came out, which was a pleasant surprise for me. First Jenn Colella lovely as always, Then James who was filming a segment for his blog. Some ensemble members followed, Pearl Sun and Tyler Mcgee, followed by a very patient Anthony Rapp, and sweet a sugar LaChanze. Then Idina came out around 10:50 and was super patient and nice, signing whole stacks of playbills that people stacked and passed to the front of the barricade. Once she did both sides she even returned to each side briefly to insure that she got the majority of the crowd. Very nice experience.

Jspy86- all you have to do is go by the theatre and see if (1) there is a cop there and (2) if there is (which is a good sign) ask the cop if Idina is going to be signing. They always know.
