Do you think this is possible? "Invisible Thread" is my favorite song.

I've heard that's the plan.

Tony winning directors do regional work all the the time. As do working actors (Tony award winners or not.) There isn't enough work ONLY in Manhattan. Work is work.

Not all of these works plan a bway run.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

"Not all of these works plan a bway run."

That is true, but in this case, it also happens to be the case.

They didn't "get" Diane Paulus. She was already there. She's the artistic director.

yes, of course, growl....I was addressing the comments that the only reason they would get a "tony award winning director" would be TO go to b'way.

And yes, Paulus is their artistic director, that's her full time job. (I didn't realize Paulus was the director on this one earlier)

I saw the first preview tonight. WOW. I won't go into too much detail, it being the first public performance, but I will say that Diane Paulus continues to be one of the best directors working today, and what Griffin Matthews and Matt Gould have created is really beautiful. I haven't felt this euphoria after a new musical since In the Heights. I'm really hoping this comes to Broadway!

Looks really cool, and I love the design. I'd love for it to come to Broadway. Would be nice to have something non-blockbuster-movie-based on the boards.

And it wont the richard rogers award, right? So that's something.

I just listened to the audio clips on the website... Wow! If this comes to Broadway its going to be a HUGE hit. The music is infectious and kinda reminds me of Lion King with a beat. Count me in.

Caught the show over the weekend.

Incredible show and exceptionally executed, performed, acted and directed.

The music is works with equal parts World Music and neo-Musical Theater sounds.

An exceptional piece of theater that had me moved, inspired and entertained.

Wish the creative team much success - I think it opens at the ART tomorrow (I caught a preview performance)

Curious to hear if there are any changes made from the Preview to when the show is Frozen

I understand that she is the artistic director. But most of the big shows from ART recently have come to Broadway. I believe this is Dianne's first new musical with the company I was worried she would be a Juile a one hit wonder but she is one of the best directors of a generation.

I am guessing it will come in the autumn and be part of the next season.

I will see this when it comes to Broadway. I saw Hair and she did an excellent job with that
