Hmmm it's not working for me. I just bought tickets to Machinal the other day and that worked fine. I'm entering "HIPTIX" when I log in, but when I go to the show page, it just shows me the regular "Buy Tickets" option and there's nothing there for $25. Any ideas?
It just worked fine for me, but if you're having trouble, you can also buy over the phone.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

HBP- if you haven't called, try changing your browser... especially if you are using Safari. For some reason I always have trouble with Roundabout's website on Safari, and downloaded Chrome.
Also, try removing the code on the homepage, and just entering it on the Cabaret tickets page; that's when it showed the $25 tickets for me.
The website is REALLY REALLY slow at the moment. I imagine we are all trying to get our tickets (and half of the NYC hiptix members) so it's slowing their servers.

Is their ticket sales phone # the same as their Audience Services #? I dialed the latter and got the 3 toned "duh duh duh - we're sorry, the number you have dialed etc." message. I'm guessing it's too jammed.
Spent an hour trying to get them on my computer. But then I tried buying them online via my phone and had no problem, so fast. I got tickets for the day after opening night!
I saw that they were onsale at 2am and figured I could wait until this morning to buy them. Mistake.
Anyway, call the Audience Service number (212-719-1300) and you may have to wait a while (get ready to listen to the phone ring a billion times), but once I got through I got my tickets very quickly.
Phone is the best way to go at this point. Waited 15-20 with it rinigng, and got through. The ticket rep was very helpful and kind. The website has put up a notice about the slow site and heavy traffic, but says tickets are still available.
I recall for recent Roundabout productions, they've checked both IDs and only hand over the tickets if both of you are 35 or under, but I just checked their site and it says guests can be of any age.
Yes, your guest can be of any age. The only time ID is checked is when you pick up tickets, and it's only checked for the HipTix member, not both parties.
