You need help.

Was thinking about seeing it in DC as I've never seen anything at the Kennedy Center, but I just…. don't care?

I did not like it in Houston, and I don't think any of the Houston critics reviewed it positively. I remember finding a few things to highlight as positives, but overall, it was lacking.

I saw it last week and thought it was terrible. I wanted to like it, but I found it hard to tolerate.

Okay, are you with the show or what? This is kind of ridiculous.

"Broadway not looking too likely... "

The fact that it's going to continue to tour is not relevant to the question of whether ir will or won't come to Broadway. It was always going to tour at the same time as a Broadway run.

Would it be relevant if extension is non-equity?

I saw Flashdance when it was in Philly a few months ago and had a great time. It was (mostly) so horrible that I don't understand how someone couldn't fall in love with it. It wasn't quite on the Into the Light/Got Tu Go Disco level, but it did its best to be a Wonderland, and that was good enough for me.

May favorite exchange in the book came when the lead guy saw Alex reading a copy of Vogue. Apparently he has been living under a rock because upon seeing the title he asks her if she speaks French, to which she replies: Yeah. Douche! The delivery was camp perfection and I nearly choked on my laughter.

In one of the early dance sequences Alex starts dancing in the street and the entire population of Pittsburgh joins her- including a traffic cop!- and it was reminded me of when a cop tap danced with Jo Anne Worley in Prince of Central Park!!!

The supporting characters absolutely hijack the first half of the second act and the climax of the audition is completely ruined by having her best friends appear behind scrims writhing around while singing the song. Why in the world would you ever distract from the one dance everyone in the audience has shown up to see. You don't bring the ensemble back on to sing oohs and aahs during Music and the Mirror, so why would you ever do it here?

It was exactly what I thought it would be and the awfulness was endearing and fun rather than boring. If it comes to your city (or Broadway) don't miss it.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco. Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

I do not see this production braving Broadway in its current state. For those of you who thought the Jekyll & Hyde revival and Wonderland were bad out of town imports, just wait until you see this thing.

Flashdance had some problems but it wasn't THAT bad ... or maybe I was just being kind in my review: https://www.broadwayworld.com/washington-dc/article/BWW-Reviews-FLASHDANCE--THE-MUSICAL-Has-Plenty-to-Enjoy-but-Something-is-Missing-20131230

Saw the show yesterday in Boston. Let me just say that it wasn't very good but it isn't as terrible as some people have made it out to be. The book is not very strong but that doesn't even matter because there are so many songs! Why are there so many damn songs? I didn't really hate any of the songs but none of them were good enough for me to remember after the show, plus they all sounded the same! I thought the set was actually pretty good though. I mean they do use a lot of projections but I still liked the actually set itself. I think if this is the show that is coming to broadway then it will have a lot of trouble. They need to cut a lot of the songs and re-work the book if this thing has any chance of doing well on Bway. All in all though, I did enjoy myself but once it was over, I was ready to leave.
