I used to love Side Show way more than I do now. I think I love the idea of it more than the execution. My biggest problem is that the lyrics are abysmal. I'm really nervous to hear how this turns out. (I'll see it as long as they keep the original We Share Everything choreo. )

Saw the original production and was blown away by it. I have one of those naughty videos of it.

Saw last night's preview and truly enjoyed it. While I miss some of the music that has been cut, the changes to the script seem to give the entire story a better arc. And the new songs are fine. I'm sure many additional changes are coming now that they are up in front of an audience. I love this score and the story and hope that this reimagined version does well! I'm holding back opinions of specific performances because they are still so very early in the run. We were told last night was the first preview, but I could have sworn posters noted a 5 November start date. Don't know what happened Tuesday.

"Leave Me Alone" is still there, though it's been moved to the top of Act 2 and is billed as "Stuck With You/Leave Me Alone."

I'm very curious to see how the new book and score changes work.
