By "re-imagined" they obviously mean with ugly costumes and cheap sets.

And Cassadee was in a alt. rock band (Hey Monday) before she won The Voice. But she may have switched to the dark side because of Blake Shelton being her "mentor."

And of course, there's the whole realization that just because someone can sing, that they can act, or are trained to the rigors of broadway. (Or that they even WANT to do b'way.)
