You're asking at a difficult time, since not many people have had an opportunity to rush post-Opening! I think the suggestions given in the original Glass Menagerie Rush thread are probably still fairly valid. Basing my opinion on those, I would say arriving 2 hours early is definitely safe! Unless the rave reviews will have everyone lining up this weekend!
As far as I know - from the people I saw a the show that I recognized from the rush line and from the reports on the other thread - they are selling the extreme right and left of the Orchestra, so technically, yes they are partial view, but my seat was very good, hardly obtrusive.
Not with this show! That's been true of shows that were not as popular, like High with Kathleen Turner. But it certainly wasn't the case with Vanessa Redgrave in The Year of Magical Thinking, or The Faith Healer with Ralph Fiennes. I think it depends on the caliber and marketability of the production...
