Best Shows and Hotels

Has anyone been to The Four Seasons Mandarin Oriental, The Pen I would like to know the best hotel in New York. I am thinking of seeing Cabaret, If/Then, Aladdin any others shows that have a lot of buzz. I know they are not be done yet so want to know what you are most looking forward to.
