Cinderella Replacements |
I'm interested to see who will replace Laura Osnes. They have very large shoes to fill. Laura Osnes pretty much carries this show.

It'll never happen, but a less conventional storybook beauty soul work well with the current treatment of the material.
I had a dream where Jodi Benson played Marie the Fairy Godmother and she was amazing in it.
Honestly for Cinderella and the others, I really don't know.

If all goes well with Sound of Music, Carrie Underwood as Cinderella?
I think Zachary Levi would make a terrific Prince Topher

I'm not trying to be that *name random Glinda who has a pretty soprano as Cinderella* type, I think Katie Rose Clarke or Alli Mauzey would be great in this role, especially Alli.
I could see them stunt cast really any of the principal roles. I wouldn't be suprised if feelers weren't sent out to Brandi Norwood, she still reads somewhat young.
I was thinking Kara Lindsay too... I also think Jackie Hoffman would be good as the Stepmother or Fairy Godmother
In my dream world, Patrick Wilson would replace Santino as Topher :) and then, I know this seems random but I would love to see Samantha Sturm as Cinderella. I loved her as the acrobat in Matilda!
Corey Cott and Patrick Wilson? You do know that the Prince in this version is sort of goofy, and not brave at all? I don't think he's supposed to be "drop dead gorgeous" either...
What about Ashley Brown for Cinderella?

I always though Rachel Potter would be a perfect replacement
She surely has the "Princess singing voice", and she's been compared to Laura Osnes a lot

I feel like Ashley Brown reads just a tiny bit too old for Cinderella now, but I could see her as the fairy godmother, just not in this version since she'd also have to play the crazy old lady.

Good point, CATS. I'd love to see her back on Broadway though! As great as Sierra would be, I'd love to see her originate a role.
