FIRST DATE must have comped and discounted a lot, but it still did better than I would have expected it to.

I'm still shocked by the crazy money Lion King still manages to pull in after all these years.

I know a family that takes their daughter to see the Lion King every single year. I'm sure that's not as unlikely of a practice as it may seem.

Woah. Is that a personal high for Book of Mormon? Wondering if they'll manage the $2M mark in due time.

Mormon (& Wicked) did 9 performances this week, hence the higher than usual grosses.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

But even with Wicked having an extra performance this past week they really didn't see much higher than normal numbers, they were only up from the previous week by $93,000.
