I want to go this year but I have some questions. I love dogs, but would I be able to meet Bernadette or the presenters (Andrew Rannels, Sigourney, etc)? Is there a "Meet and Greet"? What is the event like?
From what I recall from a few years ago, the first hour or so had rescue groups with tables around that area I think on both 44th & 45th street. You could see some of the animals up for adoption that way. Then in Shubert Alley there is a stage and that's where the Broadway stars bring up some of the animals for adoption. I'm sure some are around too. I have no idea about meeting anyone though, unless you just happened to see them in the area. The whole area is standing room and it gets crowded.

A couple of times Bernadette sat at a table and sold and signed her children's books "Broadway Barks" and "Stella is a Star". The books proceeds go to Broadway Barks. Don't know if she is this year, maybe they have Facebook page you can ask.
