Just curious to know, how are The Book of Mormon cast as of late? I'm particularly interested to hear how Nikki is considering she has been playing the role for 2 years now.

I last saw the B'way production last month and she was still great.

anyone know if Nikki is leaving the show soon??

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

As of late January, I asked her and she said that she has no plans of leaving the show. Haven't heard anything recently.

Saw the show a month ago, having seen it in Jan. of 2012, and it is still great! Nikki is such a standout in the show still. She rocks! My friend that knew nothing about the show beforehand thought she was the best! Matt Doyle is wonderful, and the standby for Cunnigham (Will Blum) is PHENOMENAL. He rivals Josh Gad IMO! Great show still. Only thing was the audience didnt seem to be eating it up as much. They definitely did the second act though.

Saw it on Sunday for the first time. The cast was on their A game. Didn't miss a beat. Audience was really into it. Nikki was excellent, and Matt Doyle and Jon Bass had great chemistry. Matt sang extremely well.

Jon Bass is leaving the show at the end of the week. Any idea who is replacing him?

Cody Jamison Strand (who had replaced Jon Bass on tour as the Cunningham standby).

Anyone know why Cale Krise left somewhat unannounced? And it seems that AJ Holmes is joining the Chicago company as Cunningham standby, maybe he fits more the Ben Platt image because he does not look like a typical choice.

Nikki is as great and fresh as she was when I first saw the show two years ago.

I don't really like Matt Doyle, his voice doesn't really do anything for me. It's kind of thin and nasal.

I'm not a Doyle-as-Price fan either, but I think his voice is the least of his problems.

I have to continue to wonder why Will Blum simply doesn't get bumped back up to the role full-time?? This is the second time a standby from a different company is taking over the role on Broadway over Blum.

Same here. Will is wonderful in the role and it's incredibly frustrating.

I also love Will in the role, and I found a lot to enjoy in Jon, as well. I'm thinking soon enough, Ben Platt will make his way here perhaps after the Chicago engagement moves forward in September.

I would love to see Will be lead again, but they seem to be sticking to a very specific formula - Jon seems more Josh Gad-like than Will, or so it seems to me. I love what Will brings to the role, and it's a shame he doesn't get the chance to do it eight times a week.

current Cunningham standby Will Blum has left the show for Barry Manilow's "Harmony" at Atlanta's Alliance Theater. The Cunningham u/s, Ben Schrader's last show is this Sunday, July 21. Anyone know if a new standby has joined the show?? Brian Sears is now listed as a Cunnigham u/s.

Nyk Bielak is supposedly the new standby (he's in all the tweeted/instagrammed Lillie's photos from Will's last day), but he hasn't started yet. Rob Colletti was flown in from Chicago during Will's last week, and AJ Holmes, the other Chicago standby, has been here also hanging out as Cunningham standby.

Yay Brian!

I saw the show last night (for the first time) and thought Cody Jamison Strand was excellent as Elder Cunningham. Also enjoyed Nikki's performance, and I was thrilled that she didn't leave after her Tony win. It's nice to see the original performer in the role. Just a fun, fun show, very well done. The audience (Tuesday night performance) seemed really into it too. It's great to see so many young people at a Broadway show.

Thought I'd comment here. I saw the tour last night in DC and although I thought the individual performances were good, I really didn't like the show at all (as much as I wanted to).

Cody Strand is a brilliant Cunningham, and I'm actually partial to the thinly veiled bitterness in Doyle's Price.

Dottie, if you're a fan of South Park, chances are you'd like BOM. It's an odd combination of sophomoric humor and originality that I happen to enjoy. I can see how others would not!

What's funny is, I am not a South Park fan, but I love BoM (no further detail, but I've seen all 3 US companies). It's not for everybody, though, and I'm not talking about the language/content.

As for the cast, Cody is wonderful. I don't love him, but he's certainly a breath of fresh air. I was also super happy with Matt Loehr (especially since some of the other replacements were less than stellar). I'd love Nic Rouleau to come back.

macnyc, thankfully I was at a "signed" performance and near the teletype board as that was the only way I understood most of the lyrics.

I like South Park humor, but for some reason I just say there last night saying, "eh". I thought the 2nd act was strong than act 1 and the only time I truly laughed was during the dream sequence.
