where's the seat? Can you check at intermission what Standing room would be like? Id imagine you would miss most of the acro, correct?
Seat was Orchestra row F far right aisle partial view. I missed a couple of acrobatic moments, but it was a great seat to see the Leading Player. I think standing room will be fine.

Okie, I was in E18, were you right behind me? Famebroadway, I would guess there was a lot of confusion, first night and all, and the ticket seller probably been told there wasn't a rush, since the place was pretty packed. I got my ticket about 7:15 or so. The tiny bit of action I missed was more than made up for by being so close to the actors, for me it was a great seat and an incredible deal.
April Saul, seat F20.. right behind you.
FameBroadway: Yes there was confusion at the box office. I stopped by earlier around 2:15 and was told no rush, no standing room. I was prepared to pay full price for a ticket. Got to the box office around 7:20 as they put up the standing room sign. Pleasant surprise. Ticket guy told me he had general rush for $37. Of course I grabbed it. Great deal, fantastic show!

Not anymore -- most of the new shows are in the $35 -40 range.

BUMP-Can someone say how it was yesterday? Just trying to get a sense.
I went yesterday around 1pm and asked "do you have a rush policy," and the guy shook his head no. I said "so it doesn't exist, or you don't have any left?" and he shook his head again, said "no."
I guess until they officially announce a policy, it depends which d!ckhead is working at the box office.

A friend of mine who knows someone in that box office old me they'll be doing general rush based on availability, one hour before curtain.

Wow, Miles...I'm sorry if I helped convince you to try for it, that would be so frustrating. The Matilda box office was just as much of a mess at this point in previews.
If they're not selling these partial-view tickets in Rows E and F as rush, I wonder what they're charging for them.

I went by the box office right after it opened yesterday afternoon and was told that they hadn't started selling rush tickets yet. I thought this was weird, especially after seeing that others on this board had gotten them. A friend of mine asked around 5pm and was told to come back by in an hour--that they would have more information then. He and I stood in line behind three others starting at 5:30 and a crowd of at least 30-45 people joined the line behind us.
At 6:30, the house was open and they still hadn't started selling rush tickets. It was probably 6:45 before the door manager started sending people one at a time to get them. $37 each, 1 ticket per person. Cash or credit. The three people who were in front of me were seated where I was (Row B and C in the far left orchestra) and my friend was seated in Row C in the far right orchestra. Apparently, only 15 tickets or so were given out.
The show is phenomenal, by the way. Try to see this one soon--as soon as it's open, I have a feeling that the rush lines are only going to get longer.

Does anyone know how it's been the past couple of days? Has there been a line in the morning and how many are they giving out? Are they also adhering to the one ticket per person policy?

The ONE time I didn't take advantage of an amazing 3000 point bonus on Audience Rewards for the pre-sale. Ave Maria Santissima!

Rushed this AM, ended up buying discount seats because the rush were very obstructed view, but the tickets for the matinee were gone by 8:45 and the night show by 9 at the latest. Really long line. And whoever is running the box office is kind of inept, because they hadn't finished selling the 40 (20 for each show) tickets by 10:30.

Where were the obstructed view seats located?
The boxes, a friend said it wouldn't be worth it for what you'd miss so we paid the extra 20$ to get a center seat in the mezz.

Thanks. The boxes at the Hirschfeld for Kinky Boots were great, I was wondering what the Pippin boxes were like.
Kelly2, did you mean that there were enough people in line at 8:45a and 9a that by 10a they were the ones who got tickets?
for those who have not seen the show, I would not discount those boxes! Especially for the few surprises that happen there. All I am saying is that I would very much like to sit in one at some point. I will definitely try this rush, maybe this weekend.
