Don't know about rush, but I used a discount code on Broadway Box last night and got a $24 mezzanine ticket for Superman; that might be a good way to go! The seat directly in front of it was $115, so it's probably not too bad of a deal.

If you're under 30 you can sign up for their Peer-to-Peer program. They don't offer discounts for all productions but it's certainly worth it to sign up: http://www.nycitycenter.org/content/tickets/students.aspx
