Did they delete the whole thing because of one spam post? Ridiculous!!

I'm on my phone, so I won't go into detail...but I thought it was simply glorious. Aside from a few mic issues here and there, it was close to perfection. So much love and soul on the stage.

Personally, Arden & Lewis were absolute standouts. (And two of my favorite performers so I'm a little biased!)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

It was FANTASTIC! Every member of the cast was amazing! The ensemble and the 150+ back-up choir did justice to the music that was played beautifully by the 32 (or something) piece-orchestra, which was fabulously conducted by Sheila Walker.

Lea Salonga sang Back To Before beautifully and emotionally. The audience gave her a thunderous applause. Patina Miller's rendition of Your Daddy's Son was heart wrenching. Norm Lewis was BRILLIANT! Michael Arden acted and sang with conviction. Tyne Daly was perfect as Emma Goldman. Manoel Feliciano as Tateh was incredible. Lewis Grosso, the little boy, and Lilla Crawford, the little girl were like seasoned Broadway performers. Kerry Butler was very funny and engaging. Phillip Boykin as Booker T. Washington was perfect for the role.

The audience's response was deafening! What a night!

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. Arden, Solonga, Butler, and the gentleman who played father were stellar. I was incredibly underwhelmed by Miller and Lewis..
