Does anyone else experience a significant delay between typing something on the keyboard and having it appear on the monitor when posting to this board? I have no similar problem with any other computer work that I do.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Rob -- happy to do so, but what Taz brought up -- happens a LOT.

I don't have a problem with that, but I do have a tip for this message board.
It is quite inefficient that when you would like to check the newest responses on a thread you have to click on the thread first (which takes a long time to load at my computer), and then you come to page 1 (of the sometimes 40 pages or more), and then you have to click on "last page" (takes a long time to load again), to get the chance to read the latest replies.
Why do you not display the page numbers below the title of the post on the main board?
Then people can click to the page they want to see immediately.
To get to the last page of a thread, you just need to click on the 'last comment' column from the main board page.
and thx, re: error sending. It sounds to me like it's probably inserting properly in the database, but maybe having an error w/ our search indexer which would explain why it's still showing up and why I don't see any error alerts here...but the actual error text will confirm and help me get fixed!
Rob, while I know that you can click "last comment" to get to the last page I still think Dave's post is an idea worth exploring. Sometimes especially on a busy thread I may have fallen behind on I want to go the 2nd to last, 3rd to last page or wherever I left off and that feature would make that action much easier. It's obviously far from essential but it would be a nice little feature.

"No, but sometimes when I hit "post message" my screen goes to a page that looks the site just crashed.
When I hit my back arrow though it goes back to BWW and my comment is already posted in the thread.
This happens on both my home and work computers."
I find something like this happens when I am writing a thread response, and someone else writes and posts theirs before I post mine. It acts like it's freezing up. I think if I hit the browser refresh or back arrow button, it works out.
been, on the page with all the thread titles, the second to right column should be "last comment" with the right-most one being who created the thread. Click on whatever name and time is in the "last comment" box.
Try it out on the Patti LuPone on Watch What Happens thread. joshy posted the last comment, so click on his name. It should take you to the last page.
