SUNSET BLVD _ World Premiere Recording missing from itunes?

So something curious happened yesterday... Was trying to update some things to my music library in itunes and noticed I didn't have the "cover art". When I tried looking for it, there's no traces at all of it in itunes.

Not trying to get into another thread comparing Normas,or recordings for that matter - just wondering if anyone knew what happened/was there a reason for this? I have the remastered CD's of it so its not a problem of not having it.

I guess the real question would be was it ever offered for sale on itunes to begin with?

Sometimes iTunes loses licenses to some recordings and stop carrying it.

Do a Google search for the cover art for the specific recording of SUNSET BLVD you own.

Go to IMAGES and select the image you want. RIGHT CLICK on the image and select COPY IMAGE.

Go to iTunes - -> highlight all the tracks for that album --> right click on GET INFO and then PASTE the artwork in the ARTWORK field and the artwork should now appear on your iTunes.

I guess it got me more curious than anything. Considering that almost 19 years later (which as I'm typing that, I can't believe its been that long) Patti is still super pissed at ALW, I was wondering if this was another chapter in the Sunset saga - which was almost as dramatic off stage as on

Is it (or the American Premiere Recording for that matter) even in print anymore?

The recording with Patti is available on Amazon only as a physical copy, and listed as new, not buying from Amazon marketplace sellers (though it is available cheaper through those avenues), but is not available as a digital download and does not appear in the itunes store. The American premiere recording with Glenn Close seems to be out of print as a physical copy but is available to download through both Amazon and itunes.

The World Premiere recording is available on the British itunes. I'm not sure if it was ever available on the U.S. store.

The recordings are still big! It's the distribution that got small.
