In their 16th year of community theatre excellence, the Bethlehem Players are holding open auditions for their March production of Neil Simon’s “Barefoot In The Park” on Saturday, January 5 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2419 Bethlehem Loop Road, Franklin (37069).

Please bring a headshot and a resume. If an actor is called back, the callbacks take place Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the BPAC. Performance dates are March 8-16, 2013.

For any additional questions, please contact the Bethlehem Players Artistic Director Dietz Osborne at heydietz@yahoo.com.

“Barefoot In The Park” is a charming romantic comedy about a conservative young lawyer and his irrepressible bride with marital struggles after their honeymoon gives way to the reality of setting up housekeeping in a five-flight walk-up in New York City.

The Bethlehem Players are celebrating their 16th year of exceptional family entertainment staging productions in the Bethlehem Performing Arts Center, Bethlehem United Methodist Church, off Hillsboro Road in the Grassland area of Franklin, TN. The community theatre outreach program was founded in 1997 by Bethlehem UMC Music and Arts Director Harry Robinson, and, since its inception, the Bethlehem Players have successfully staged for packed audiences a spectrum of shows from “Annie” to “Steel Magnolias” as well as two world premiere productions, “Southern Fried Funeral” and “Southern Fried Nuptials.”
