^My bad then, I always remember the wooden floors but I was still thinking the red "golden-age" chairs, etc. Must've not realized it when I was there.

I live right across the bridge from the playhouse but sadly didn't get to see Misery; I heard mixed things about the adaptation but only praise for the performances.

A few notes on the BCP: don't run the Open Air Theatre anymore; that's run by the same people who used to work at the BCP, but it's not associated with the BCP any longer. As aasjb mentioned, the renovation was pretty extensive, and it looks gorgeous inside now.

James Earl Jones and Tyne Daly did a fundraiser reading of Love Letters, not a premiere. Justin Guarini and Jill Paice are among the Broadway actors appearing in their next production: It's a Wonderful Life.
