Anyone know what the policy is?

I'm guessing it's best available general rush. I went tonight at 6 to get a cheap seat in the mezz but he said they had rush for the same price. Great orchestra seat.

I asked at the box office and the attendant said they will decide rush on a day-to-day basis. When available, it is $40 cash only.

I don't know why they keep saying that. When I asked, she told me that there is no policy, they decide each day if they will have rush. I said, "But there's no set policy?" She said, "No, it's subject to availability." I said, "I understand that tickets are not guaranteed every day, but when they are available, what's the policy?" She said, "There is no daily policy, you just have to come to the box office in the morning and if we have tickets for rush, we'll sell them." I said, "...Okay, and how much would they be?" She said, "$40, cash only." I said, "One or two per person?" She said, "One."

That, lady, would be a policy. "Subject to availability" is a policy.

Was the lady the evil redhead of the Lunt-Fontanne? I've often heard her referred to by another name that rhymes with "Lunt"-Fontanne if you catch my drift and know several people who have written the Nederlander's letters about her nortorious rudeness and curt behavior towards customers, especially "rushers."

I rushed last Friday and had no problem. Got to the box office around 4 and got a great seat dead center in the front row of the mezzanine. And there were plenty of empty seats in the theatre, so I bet you'd have no trouble getting a seat right about now (it'll probably pick up after Thanksgiving).

I got rush today. Got there around a little after noon, got 2 tickets mid mezz row F. Lady was not pleasant or friendly at all, she was businesslike but borderline rude. I asked if they had anything closer, she said they never give rush closer than that.
