a) you joined a month ago to post on nothing butScandalous, you silly shill, and
b) as far as expressing an opinion about a preview, this show has been in development for years and has had two full productions and about a thousand workshops. It's not like they're going to suddenly write a good show in a few days after all that time spent writing poop.
Perfect example! Development, previews, and workshops are to create a better show!!! I won't try to convince u (or anyone else) to look at things in a less negative way...
I didn't join a month ago...I've been an on-again, off-again poster since 2010. My old account is inaccessible...so it became easier to create a new account. But, your name calling is profound! May I suggest you pick up a mirror and focus on yourself?
And...I am by no means suggesting we post all positive reviews..But, wouldn't it seem a little "less bitter" when posting about a preview to keep in mind that its in PREVIEWS? Too much to ask that someone who is a respected reviewer on this site make note that they're posting a review on day one of a 4-week preview?
If people liked what they saw on stage at the Neil Simon, they would have written positive things. They didn't like what they saw and they wrote their opinions.
Grow a thicker skin and deal with it.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
"But, your name calling is profound! May I suggest you pick up a mirror and focus on yourself?"
I have been accused of many things, but never of being a silly shill, you silly shill.
wickedfan tells truth - if you charge $$ for tickets, your audience has the right to judge you. And, like I said, if you've been working on your steaming pile for years, you're not going to suddenly get it right in a few days at the end. Believing otherwise is like believing in rainbow unicorns.
