One of the sexiest, funniest, and most ground breaking theatrical experiences to ever hit New York is BACK after 35 years and IT'S BETTER THAN EVER!!! Before there was Hip Hop, there was "The Great MacDaddy." Considered one of the Negro Ensemble Company’s classic works, "The Great MacDaddy," written by Paul Carter Harrison, was last staged at the Theatre De Lys in 1977, and is now being revived 35 years later for the enjoyment of a whole new generation! The revival will feature:
- Renowned actor, Khalil Kain, seen in movies such as "Juice" and "Love Jones"
- Obie-award winning actor, J Kyle Manzay, seen in movies such as "American Gangster" and "Little Manhattan"
- Two time Chicago Emmy award winner, Nikkieli DeMone, seen in such plays as "The Wiz" and "Ragtime"
- Veteran actor, Charles Weldon, seen in classic plays from the Negro Ensemble Company, such as "The Great MacDaddy" (the original) and "A Soldier's Play"

What two Emmy Awards did Mr. DeMone win? I find nothing on IMDB or the Emmy site.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
Emmy Awards, Best Supporting Actor, 1999 Won for "IN THE EYES OF GOD"
Emmy Awards, Best Supporting Actor, 1998 Won for "BAD STREET"

Really? I wonder why neither award is indicated on any list anywhere, including the Emmy website.
Also, neither title comes up anywhere, including IMDB.
Such an easy lie to uncover.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
I forgot to tell y'all that I've been nominated for an Emmy for "Most Likely to Lie on a Resume in an Infomercial". I'm nominated with Lori Davis and a posthumous Jeannie Bice. Cross your fingers!
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
Joe...he won best supporting actor in a DOCUMENTARY!

I am the lead producer on this revival production of The Great MacDaddy. First of all I would like to thank you all for visiting our profile you certainly had other places you could’ve spent your afternoon yet you chose our profile.
I must say, however, that I am a little disappointed at what you have chosen to focus on. This production, which features an all African-American, cast was made possible through an NEA grant and a successful indiegogo campaign. It also is being produced on a seasonal showcase code for 29 performances in a 99-seat theater Off-Broadway. I say this to say, if you choose to spend your time investigating the validity of posted productions and it’s stars that’s is your prerogative, but surely there are bigger projects you can scrutinize. Right? May I suggest Spiderman (50 million dollars afforded them 5 years of scrutiny I’m sure they can afford your energy.) $40K on the other hand only affords us coped scripts and this profile.
As far as Mr. Demone personal business with the aforementioned child support case, we have investigated and it is our understanding that the case was dismissed after Mr. Demone took a paternity test that proved he was (in my best Maury voice) "Not the father." His attorney has also confirmed this. They are working to get that removed off the site.
As far as our understanding on his Emmy Awards: The Emmy he received for "In the Eyes God" was actually for a Christopher Guest styled mocu-mentary that was presented as a documentary which of course is how he won (It was scripted or partially so). The other Emmy was for a local Chicago based show that aired on an NBC affiliate.
I would love to use this platform to promote the production. As “the little creative engine that could or think we can” we certainly don't need frivolous resistance like these stopping us from remounting this rare classic masterpiece. As fellow artists or at the very least theater enthusiasts, I'm sure you can appreciate and respect this.
With that said, I invite you all to come out to this one of a kind production. You will not be disappointed and if you are it certainly won't be because you were able to cast doubt on Mr. Demoe's bio. You have my word or I will personally give your $25 dollars back. (Yes, that is our top ticket price.)
All the best,
The Great MacDaddy

Mayor MacCheese, regional Emmys do not go to performers except for newscasters, reporters and local hosts, like Sally Starr and Cap'n Noah in Philadelphia.
So, your original post has a blatant lie that was easily exposed. How many others are there?
Good luck with your show...I wont be going because I'd wonder if anyone would be there when I showed up.
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
I sincerely doubt that you would've come before if a simple conversation over an Emmy would cause you to question whether the show is actually happening (even in jest that is a bit hyperbolic). But your lost... trust me the show was wild when it premiered and it's gonna be wild now.
As far as the free publicity. Who doesn't want it? That's not an insult my friend. I actually don't the interaction as long as its worth it.
Heckling? Is that what this is? Lol.

He also lies about his height on his resume. His criminal arrest report lists him as 5'7", yet on his resume on IMDB, he claims to be 5'10".
He's also the only person I've ever seen who has a page on IMDB which lists NO ACTUAL FILM CREDITS, in spite of all the roles listed on his resume. Was EVERY film and TV role he claims to have done an unbilled extra role? Can you pay to be on IMDB?
ALSO - I was unaware that theatre companies can use this board to get themselves FREE ADVERTISING. Not just a press release, but a HUGE DISPLAY AD in the body of the message.

Thanks for your interest in the revival of this great African American classic, the first one seen in NY since 1977.
