First of all, of course there's actually nothing wrong with a Muslim president (I know so many disagree, but still).
Second, even if he was raised in Islam, he...LIKE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AROUND THE GLOBE...chose (yes...chose) to follow the Christian religion. I always feel I need to point that out. I do not believe being gay is a choice, but even if it were, who cares. Because religion sure as SH*T is a choice and it's constitutionally protected.
Third, she, like Liz Taylor, lived too long. What was once mysterious and iconic has become ridiculous and tired.
Well, if you can't love Madonna for this, then you never loved her at all. She's earned the right to be who she is and say what she wants and do what she wants and doesn't she look amazing for her age?
"What can you expect from a bunch of seitan worshippers?" - Reginald Tresilian
Why would she lie like that? It doesn't do anything positive and it just upsets people.
She should learn how to keep her mouth shut and stick to lip synching.

The problem with even joking about Obama being a Muslim is that people will believe her, whether she is correct or not.
It's irresponsible.

I love Madonna, but I thought it was a stupid and irresponsible comment. And it wasn't factual, so I really don't get it. Fortunately, if the majority of people who have posted here are right, she's no longer relevant and no one pays her any attention. So, hopefully, this will fade quickly.
“I know there are some who ask why we don’t just ban such a video ["The Innocence of Muslims"]. The answer is enshrined in our laws: our Constitution protects the right to practice free speech.
“Here in the United States, countless publications provoke offense.
“Like me, the majority of Americans are Christian, and yet we do not ban blasphemy against our most sacred beliefs. As President of our country, and Commander-in-Chief of our military, I accept that people are going to call me awful things every day, and I will always defend their right to do so. Americans have fought and died around the globe to protect the right of all people to express their views--even views that we profoundly disagree with."
