I will be so disappointed if there isn't an emotional curtain speech or anything special.

I'm almost positive Whoopi and Patina will be involved in the speech...We shall see though.

I wasn't there but the actors gve it their all. So and so's song was AMAZING and s/he really started to break towards the end because it was so emotional. (Actors name) got entrance applause which was really awesome and (random person making bway debut) really lost it during the curtain call and everyone started to tear up. The audience went crazy and you couldn't hear a word said the entire show because there was so much screaming (support) from the people there.

There weren't any speeches but (plug in actors name) told us all at the stage door that s/he couldn't have gone on without our love and support. I'll really miss this show and mourn it's loss in every thread I post in for a couple of months, comparing it to everything else.

You think so? I wouldn't want to take that job away from someone so obviously talented as you.

You do know "humor" not sure if it would translate to "humour" though. :)

This was my first time seeing the show. I had a really fun time. Raven and Carolee were fantastic. The roles seemed like they were written for them. There weren't any curtain speeches, but everyone sang their heart out, everyone received entrance applause, and the audience gave long and worthy ovations after each number. And I met Alan Menken afterwards... One of my heroes and one of the reasons why I fell in love with theatre. The orchestra sounded awesome under the baton of Aron Accurso. Can't believe it took me this long to see it, but I'm glad I got the chance. Better late than never!

Wasn't there today because I couldn't be, but did come into the city yesterday for the matinee to catch it one last time. I thought Raven was great! I do think she misinterpreted the character in the beginning. She made it seem like Deloris never got a job because she wasn't good enough- I never felt that Deloris wasn't good enough, just that Curtis was holding her back and her work ethic. Patina played it the latter, and it was more real. Patina is my favorite of the two, but boy is Raven funny! And her upper register is really powerful! The high notes sounded really clean. It was also my first time seeing Carolee and she was fantastic. I always thought Victoria Clark was perfect in the part, but Carolee blew the part away. Her vocals aren't for everyone with the heavy vibrato, but I thought she sang the score beautifully. I never liked "I Haven't Got a Prayer" before yesterday. Most audience appreciation and where they really started to get into the show were the Sweaty Eddie scenes for Chester. He was always good, but nothing amazing. Yesterday "I Could Be That Guy" couldn't have been better! The high note especially. Sarah Bolt and Marla Mindelle were great as usual (Marla used a very Carolee-esque vocal quality in The Life I Never Led and it sounded so much like her that it seemed like a younger Carolee. Kind of interesting, and I never thought of her that way.) That being said, Audrie Neenan is my personal favorite of the trio. She is too funny and really gets into the part. The first dinner scene in the convent has been funny all three times I've seen it. Alysha Deslorieux as Michelle/nun was a standout and great suprise! She looked like she was having a ball up there and definitely deserved to be in the Broadway cast, even if it was for only a month. Curtis's backup trio was funny as usual and knocked Lady in the Long Black Dress out of the park. Audience was crying with laughter starting from Joey's part. When it came to the title song, I was nervous because I heard this was Raven's weak point. I think she really delivered a touching song wonderfully. She had a chance to put the comedy aside and show she had more than one acting chop and succeeded.

All in all, I'm going to miss this show so much. I really think it is a great show and such a fun time out at the theater. Hope the final show was even better than yesterday and that the cast moves on to new projects!

I wonder if the national tour will use some of the Broadway sets or if they will have to redesign for the tour. It was a big show on Broadway and definitely can not tour with an exact replica.

I imagine it will be based off the UK tour which isn't too different from the Broadway set. There are no gates in the convent and scenes in Mother Superior's office and where Mary Robert sings Life I Never Led all take place in front of backdrops. There's also no revolve and the bar, police station and the bedroom set all come in on tracks rather than through a trap door. Other than that, I don't recall any major differences.

I went to the final show. It was excellent! I was front row and the view was excellent from the seats. Raven-Symone may not have been as good as Patina but she certainly held her own in the show. When it first started, I was little skeptical about her performance but after her final note in 'Fabulous, Baby!', I knew we should be in for a good show. Everyone was definitely on their game and Carolee Carmello is amazing as an actress and a singer. She was "Mother Superior", a lot better than Victoria but didn't nail all the comedy which was a little disappointing but her voice makes up for her not nailing every joke. Audrie Neenan is superb as Mary Lazurus and Sarah Bolt is also awesome as Sister Mary Patrick. There was no speech at the end which I was surprised about but I'm sure the cast probably didn't want one as they wanted to end on a happy note and not sad listening to the tearful speeches. It was sad to see this show go. I stage doored after and it was pretty packed. I met Raven-Symone and she was nice in person unlike her security guard which if you want fans you have to be nice because other celebrities are a lot nicer in person and people like that. The only cast who really signed were Carolee and Raven, but everyone else you had to catch on the way out. However, I managed to get everyones autograph who was a lead except Fred Applegate. Everyone was rushing to get to the closing party. SURPRISE: Patina Miller came out and since no one was crowding her I got her autograph she was so appreciative and Victoria Clark also came out but I didn't get her autograph because she seemed to run off tot he party. But....coming out of the stage door close to the end, was Da'Vine Joy Randolph from Ghost. It was awesome because I never got a chance to see her after the show so I was so lucky to see her then. She was so happy someone recognized her and was so nice. She is a special gift to Broadway. But overall it was an excellent afternoon and wonderful closing show. I felt though that some parts have been changed since I last saw it in Decemeber to make things flow easier which was better for the show. Bye Sister Act...

Also found out from Alena Watters is that Kingsley, Lael, Alysha, and someone else from the Broadway cast are going on National Tour. I believe Lael is Sister Mary Robert.

Wow, Kingsley will be on the tour? Didn't expect that. But why Lael.....not Chelsea Morgan Stock at least? Wonder who the fourth one is.

Didn't expect that Kingsley would either but maybe since he really enjoyed the role, he decided to accept. According to Alena as well, everyone was asked whether they wanted to join the tour but only a couple wanted to. I think the fourth is Aaron Kaburick or Trisha Rapier was it. I couldn't remember since she said the fourth one so quick. But it will be interesting once the final casting gets announced
