I can't find any summaries anywhere online and missing this show is one of my biggest theater-going regrets. I'd appreciate it if someone could give me a thorough plot summary! And has anyone heard anything else about a potential Broadway run?

There are two people. The a woman comes on. It's Vera Stark. One person knows her, one doesn't. Introductions are made. The end.
No good can possibly come from using this vast wasteland of error and deliberate deceit. You should get off of it and warn others away. You should make sure your children and grandchildren know what a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution it truly is.

The plot summary on the blog above is pretty detailed, but at first glance, it seems to be missing the big reveal in the closing moments of the play, which is that Gloria and Vera are actually cousins and that Gloria has been "passing" her entire career.

In terms of a Broadway run, Robyn Goodman is attached commercially to the forthcoming production at the Geffen Playhouse in LA this fall (which Jo Bonney is directing again.) I've heard Lynn Nottage is going to continue working on the play there, and if it's received well, they're hoping it could transfer to Broadway in the spring.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

^ I'm sorry but did you read the title of this thread?

I would love for this show to transfer to Broadway eventually. The second act needs a lot of work.
