I know this isn't Tony related but its driving me crazy. In Timeless to Me, the orchestra plays the melody of La Vie en Rose after Wilbur sings his "du jour/mon amor" lyrics. However in the reprise, Edna and Wilbur have the "big affair/mein herr" lyrics and the orchestra plays a ten note melody afterwards that sounds like its sampling something else. Those are the only two parts of the song that aren't swung so I assumed they are both "famous" melodies but I just can't figure out the second one. I've tried searching and the only potential match is the Israeli national anthem, so if anyone has any answer I'd love to know!

There is no reprise of "Timeless to Me"

Yes there is, it's just not on the cast recording. However, I guess it's more appropriate to call it an encore than a reprise. I know exactly what you're talking about BNN2, but I have no clue what the song is called. Sorry! Maybe someone else can help you out! :)
