Posted: 5/6/12 at 4:16pmChris Fitzgerald got a supporting role in a pilot for NBC relatively late in the pilot season, so my guess is that the delay in the confirmation of his casting is The Public waiting to find out whether or not his show's been picked up (which will be announced at the network upfronts later this month.) If it does get ordered to series, Fitzgerald will no longer be available for INTO THE WOODS.
